A lifelong lover of storytelling, Angela L. Merkle is a creative writer who specializes in Christian-inspired fantasy. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Writing from Houston Christian University in 2009 and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Houston Christian University in 2025. She sees illustration and creative writing as two mediums to accomplish the same goal: tell a story. She has worked full time as a graphic designer, administrative assistant, and an editor. After completing her MFA, Angela is pursuing publication for her thesis work/debut novel, an epic fantasy adventure featuring clean fiction and Christian values. She continues to write shorter works on the side, especially fanfiction, just for fun. When she is not writing, drawing, or reading, Angela enjoys playing video games, painting, cross stitching, going on walks (when the weather in Texas cooperates), spending time with her nieces and nephew, and playing with her cats.
